How will Phoenix Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) construction impact the surrounding businesses?

Great question! While much is still to be determined, there are a lot of factors you can weigh in on that will impact the City of Phoenix’s planning and development for Phoenix BRT.

We’ll be introducing a series of Table Talks to collect feedback from you and your business.

The Table Talks highlight the value of open dialogue and emphasize how informed discussions can lead to significant outcomes. Table Talks are supported by the city but will be led by business leaders who will host casual conversations in small, intimate settings to help build trust between business owners and decision-makers and ultimately obtain feedback on the preferred BRT lane option. The Phoenix BRT survey and comment period will be open from February 17 through April 6, 2025. Below are ways to stay connected and provide comments.

Stay Connected

During the design process, we’ll be evaluating the BRT lane options and the impacts of each to determine a solution that accommodates your business’s needs, is feasible within the corridor, and aligns with the priorities for developing BRT on this corridor.

Both options have unique considerations, and this spring, we’ll be sharing all the details so you can weigh in on the design you think is the best fit for YOU and your business.
